David Shipko is a doctoral candidate in English Literature at Johns Hopkins University, and a scholar, theorist, and writer of fictions—speculative and mundane—that seek to negate capitalist realism and envision desirable alternative forms and modes of life.
Below are links to a selection of his short stories, a glimpse of his first novel, Worlds to Win, currently under revision, and two blogs: “Pocket Universes,” a growing microfiction collection; “Notes From My Archive,” rough musings on literature, critical and literary theory, politics, and creative writing.
